The ShieldWall Network Arkansas Flood Relief

The ShieldWall Network’s Arkansas affiliate (SWNAO) is participating in a flood relief effort to help our fellow White citizens in the Pocahontas, Arkansas, area, where the Black River had breached its levee in nine places, three seriously, and overwhelmed the town’s sandbag defenses and pumping stations. Fifty houses have been destroyed, one hundred and fifty damaged, several people have drowned, and five hundred have had to be emergency evacuated, leaving the town of 6,700, 95% White, almost completely abandoned to the floodwaters. Arkansas National Guard are assisting with the rescue efforts: 108 citizen soldiers and twenty-five vehicles are being used for rescue operations right now. I’m going over there tomorrow night, personally, to see if I can help without getting in the way.

The ShieldWall Network Arkansas affiliate is helping out in flood-stricken areas as well. Even as the rain continues today, conservative political activists have set up a donation and supplies collection point at the state Republican Party of Arkansas headquarters. I know that many of you are turned off and disappointed by the GOP and party politics, but this is a local and statewide effort that has nothing to do with Washington, D.C.. This effort is in coordination with the Arkansas Young Republicans and Ministerial Alliance in Pocahontas. All collected donations will be dispatched on Monday to Pocahontas!
